At AC Clinical Hypnotherapy, we understand that a lack of confidence often stems from deeply ingrained self-doubt and negative beliefs, which create feelings of “not being good enough”, or “not being enough.” These detrimental thoughts can severely hinder personal development, growth and opportunities. Often, such negative beliefs are accept as truth simply because they have been repeated and reinforced over time.
We all possess incredible potential to build confidence and shape our lives in meaningful and happy ways. However, as we grow from childhood through to adolescence and adulthood, we often pick up beliefs and fears and stories about ourselves that hold us back, stories about ourselves that are untrue and sadly, can hold us back from living our best lives.
These negative thoughts can manifest as anxiety, overwhelm, frustration and those persistent feelings of not being good enough can lead to individuals developing unhealthy coping mechanisms to avoid painful emotions and manage stress.
Our approach involves challenging these thought processes and beliefs as we work together with clients to identify and discuss their self-sabotaging behaviours and negative beliefs. By questioning the validity and examining the origins of these beliefs, we help clients to recognise where these beliefs originated, how these negative thoughts and beliefs were adopted and most importantly how they can overcome them to begin restoring and boosting confidence and self-esteem so they can unlock their true potential.
